A pre-stack unit stacks two container rows one upon the other. The push palletizer then pushes two rows each on the pallet. The pallets are dispensed and separated by an empty pallet magazine.

Plates are moved above the pallet and lowered. A motor driven pusher pushes the first row of containers above the plate to its palletizing position. The plate withdraws by the size of one container row.
